- Friday days._
- Flex schedule based on frontline response to crisis as required,_
- 3-month probation and review_

**What you bring to the table**
- **An unrestricted Saskatchewan driver’s license**
- **Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Clearance**
- Post secondary education in relevant field and/or experience equivalent (minimum 1 year)
- High energy and a positive vibe
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills
- Knowledge and experience in:
- Working with youth
- Youth centred philosophy, trauma informed care & strength based approaches
- Working with an Indigenous population
- Working with vulnerable populations with challenging behaviours
- Working with individuals with varying abilities, cognitive disabilities, & FASD
- Program delivery & case management
- Leading a team (minimum 1 year)
- Administration, documentation, and databases.
- Preference will be given to applicants with:

- Conflict Resolution, Crisis Intervention, & DPVS
- ASIST, Mental Health First Aid, & Suicide Prevention Training
- CPR/First-Aid (B), Water Safety, & Food Safe

**What your shift looks like**

**Youth Advocacy & Support Requirements**
- Work collaboratively with your team to assist residents in:

- Identifying attainable short and long-term goals
- Developing strategies for meeting these goals
- Creating action plans for implementation
- Provide behavioural support to residents in the form of:

- Mediation & Advocacy
- Establish & clarify expectations
- Establish consequences
- Discuss outcomes to actions,
- Debrief with all parties over critical incidents
- Supervise the tracking and scheduling of all resident appointments (health, justice, education, etc.)
- Transport residents to school &/or appointments
- Attend resident court dates and appointments
- Communicate with workers around ongoing resident issues
- Support team in developing and implementing initiatives to address resident issues

**Case Management Requirements**
- Facilitating youth intakes and discharges:

- Complete life skills inventory assessments and send to MSS
- Recognize the need for additional supports for residents
- Recognize the need for community connections for residents
- Develop, oversee, and maintain case plans for all residents
- Oversee the quarterly completion of:

- Case conferences
- Action plans
- Eco maps & eco map reviews
- CAFAS
- Review, edit, and finalize all incident and disclosure reports
- Spot Check Apricot for quality assurance:

- Review & update Case Management documents
- Review & update resident information & profiles
- Communication with External Supports including but not limited to:

- Ministry of Social Services
- Probation
- Other community based organizations
- Handle special allowance requests

**Team Development, Oversight, & Support**
- Reviewing staff case notes and journals entries daily:

- Revise/edit as needed
- Coach staff on meeting standards
- Oversee and review medication administration:

- Manage medication records
- Track and review medication errors
- Oversee & review your team’s wellness checks
- Provide timely feedback and coaching to team (keep accurate records)
- Clarifying your team’s roles and responsibilities
- Delegating tasks to your team
- Assist your team in managing difficult behaviours of residents
- Assist your team in supporting the residents (including front-line activities as required)
- Facilitate monthly team meetings
- Leading house-specific portions of the Housing Meetings
- Conduct quarterly check-ins with your team
- Provide input into your team’s yearly staff reviews
- Meet with your team for debriefs around incidents and support during crisis
