**Salus Mutual Insurance Company has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Multi-Line Underwriter to join our growing team**

Reporting to the Underwriting Manager, the Multi-Line Underwriter is primarily responsible for lower to moderate complexity commercial, farm, residential, and automobile risks. The Multi-Line Underwriter reviews, analyzes and assesses risk material according to underwriting guidelines and Company standards, within authority limits; properly uses information from the Claims Department, Farm Mutual Re, and OMIA and determines policy details including rate and premium in a timely manner, based on agent direction.

**Position Requirements**:

- Postsecondary education or equivalent training and work experience
- Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP) courses C11, C12, C13, C14, C120, C121, C130 an asset
- Minimum three years of related experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
- Experience with insurance software
- Understanding of the mutual insurance system and its philosophy an asset
- Knowledge of construction pricing and estimating techniques
- General knowledge of commercial, farm, residential, and automobile risk evaluation, assessment, rating, and procedures

**Salary**: $45,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
