**Responsibilities**:
The Proctor will work with the HBA Program Services team and Chief Proctors to administer exams across both HBA 1 and HBA2 - undergraduate program at the Ivey Business School. Exams will include both written and secure computer based exams. The incumbent will oversee the entire exam process which includes: set up of the exam room, distributing exams, reviewing exam instructions with students, monitoring students during the exam, collecting exams, completing all relevant exam tracking paperwork, and submitting all exams and paperwork to the Exam Office post exam. Ivey exams run from 2 - 4 hours in length with set up time pre-exam and collection time post exam. Proctors will be asked to use a laptop while in the exam room to communicate with Chief Proctors, IT Services and HBA Program Services staff.
Proctors are expected to be available in person during the Ivey exam periods. Exams occur for approximately 1.5 weeks in the months of October, December, February and March/April. Proctor hours are scheduled based on availability. No set number of hours is guaranteed. Annual training takes place in the month of September. Please note that exams will be in person for the coming school year, so all proctors must be willing to be in person.
Please note, Proctors may be asked to assist in the MSc, and MBA departments as well.
- This position may also assist the various Programs with Co-pilot responsibilities included but not limited to:
- Capturing the order of raised hands, capturing those who contribute, coordinating breakout groups, discussion polls and other zoom functionality
- Ability to exercise privacy and confidentiality at all times
Qualifications Education:
- No Degree, Diploma, or Professional Designation required
**Experience**:
2-3 years of experience providing customer service
Skills, Abilities & Expertise:
- Detail-oriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to employ a systematic and efficient approach to work
- Ability to confront issues or situations in an objective manner Strong verbal communication skills
- Ability to work in a manner that models best practices in confidentiality standards
- Ability to respond promptly to any issues in the exam room and knowing when to escalate for further decision and response.
- Ability to maintain a positive, outgoing attitude with genuine customer service orientation
- Computer skills with the ability to learn and use software programs
