$21.00 per hour

$23.34 per hour at 3 months of employment

**DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES**:

- Responsible for the day to day maintenance of the property
- Assists in the implementation of all tasks to be completed on a regular basis
- Performing preventative maintenance
- Assists in the maintenance and upgrades of electrical systems, mechanical systems, energy management systems, fire safety systems, grounds, parking, swimming pool, etc.
- Assists in conducting fire alarm testing weekly and drills monthly
- Maintenance inside/outside hotel to keep appearance at its best
- Ensures compliance with occupational Health and Safety procedures

**MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS**:

- Must be available to work weekends
- Must be able to communicate excellently (speak, read, write and understand) in English and all primary language(s) in the work place
- Experience as an assistant maintenance person
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Must have Training or experience in the areas of carpentry, light plumbing work, light electrical work, refurbishing and cleaning, painting, drywall repair, appliance diagnosis, boilers and grounds maintenance
- Ability to deal with all levels of management as well as guests in a professional manner
