Mt. Arrowsmith Childcare Ltd. is seeking a dedicated and experienced **Childcare Manager** to lead and support our team of educators in providing high-quality early learning and care. If you're passionate about early childhood education and have strong leadership skills, we’d love to hear from you.

**What We Offer**:

- **Hourly Wage**: $26/hour
- **Wage Enhancement**: Additional **$6/hour** through the BC ECE Wage Enhancement Program
- **Benefits Package**: Available after a 6-month probation period
- **Paid Time Off**:

- **4% vacation pay**:

- **Additional 3 weeks paid vacation** at seasonal closures
- **Paid sick days**

**Tentative Start Date: August 2025**

**Qualifications**:

- Valid **Early Childhood Educator certification** license to practice in British Columbia required (Infant and Toddler Educator preferred)
- **Previous leadership or management experience** in an early learning setting
- Valid **First Aid certification**:

- Clear **Criminal Record Check** (including Vulnerable Sector Check)
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lead a team and foster a positive, inclusive workplace culture

**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee daily operations of the childcare center
- Provide support and guidance to ECE staff
- Ensure compliance with licensing regulations and health & safety standards
- Communicate effectively with families and staff
- Assist with scheduling, enrollment, and administrative duties
- Contribute to program development and continuous quality improvement
