Job Overview:
We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Yard Worker to join our team. As a Yard Worker, you will be responsible for various tasks related to yard maintenance and organization. This is a physically demanding role that requires attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide excellent customer service and be a professional representative.
- Operate forklifts and clamp trucks to move materials and equipment within the yard
- Perform order picking and prepare items for shipment
- Assist with warehouse management system to track inventory and maintain accurate records
- Load and unload trucks using proper lifting techniques
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment and report any issues or malfunctions
- Maintain a clean and organized yard, including sweeping, removing debris, and organizing materials
- Assist with building and assembling structures as needed
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment

**Skills**:

- Experience operating forklifts, clamp trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Proficient in order picking and shipping receiving processes
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues
- Ability to work well in a team environment and follow instructions
- Excellent organizational skills to maintain an orderly yard
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems is a plus
- Strong knowledge of building materials, renovations and repairs is a also an asset

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: $16.55-$22.00 per hour

Expected hours: 8 - 40 per week
