**Job Summary**

**Key Responsibilities**:
1. **Financial Planning & Forecasting**:

- Lead the development and management of the company’s financial planning processes (annual budgeting, quarterly forecasts, and long-term projections).
- Develop financial models to support strategic decision-making, including revenue forecasting, cost analysis, and profitability analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of financial forecasts with business plans.

2. **Budgeting & Reporting**:

- Prepare, monitor, and manage budgets across departments.
- Perform variance analysis to explain differences between budget and actual performance.
- Provide regular financial reports and insights to senior management.

3. **Strategic Analysis & Business Insights**:

- Analyze trends in the financial and operational performance of the company to identify areas for improvement.
- Support strategic initiatives such as capital investment analysis, M&A, or new market entry.
- Identify and quantify risks and opportunities within financial forecasts.

4. **Key Metrics & Performance Management**:

- Develop and track key financial and operational metrics (KPIs) that measure the company’s performance.
- Build dashboards and visual reports that provide insights into key business drivers.

5. **Stakeholder Communication**:

- Present financial performance, forecasts, and strategic recommendations to executives and business leaders.
- Work with department heads to align on targets and provide clarity on financial outcomes.

6. **Systems & Process Improvement**:

- Maintain and improve financial planning and reporting systems working in conjunction with our SVP Finance and regional finance leads
- Identify opportunities for process improvement to increase the accuracy, timeliness, and efficiency of financial operations.

7. **Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis**:

- Conduct various ad-hoc analyses to support senior management in decision-making (e.g., market trends, product profitability, and investment opportunities).

**Required Skills & Qualifications**:

- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting or related field (Master’s degree or MBA is an asset).
- 7+ years of dedicated experience in financial analysis, FP&A, or related roles.
- Strong proficiency in financial modeling, forecasting techniques, and financial systems (e.g., Query building, raw data manipulation, compilation of various data sources, Advanced Excel).
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with senior management.
- Knowledge of IFRS, GAAP and corporate finance principles.
- Able to pass a RCMP background check

NOTE:

- Ability to attend head office on ad hoc occasions - role is primarily remote

Pay: $90,000.00-$105,000.00 per year
