**The Position: Assistant Apartment Manager**
Our Assistant Apartment Manager will work under the supervision of our Resident Apartment Community Manager and Property Manager to assist with the daily operations of the apartment buildings within our portfolio. The main responsibilities include maintaining tenant satisfaction, maximizing occupancy levels, and ensuring building integrity. This position is a full-time position and requires travel to various apartment buildings within our Edmonton portfolio.

- Excellent communication and organizational abilities
- Excellent “do it yourself” skills
- Ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Ability to multi-task and remain detail oriented
- Relevant sales experience
- Ability to troubleshoot and problem solve effectively
- Strong PC skills (MS Office: Excell, word, etc.).
- Working knowledge of YARDI or other property management software
- Understanding/knowledge of HVAC systems, Fire Safety Regulations and Life Safety Systems
- Valid driver license and own vehicle
- Ability to lift up to 15kg. Ability to bend, push and pull as well as go up and down stairs.
- Available to work a flexible schedule
- Base of 24 hours/week
- Monday to Friday and some Saturdays
- Available for the first and last day of the month
- On-call some evenings and weekends
- After-hours work as required for maintenance and emergencies.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English (Second language is an asset)
- 2-5 years’ experience in property management, hospitality or similar role preferred
- Salary based on experience.
- Knowledge of the Residential Tenancy Act
- Criminal record background check required
**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
