**Job Overview**

This job, like most in the area, is very slow in the winter, but very busy in the summer. The hours posted on this ad reflect the **winter** hours. **This is a mostly full time position in the summer. **_(35-40 hours a week)._

**Responsibilities**:

- Operate and maintain brewing equipment
- Follow recipes and production schedules to brew beer
- Work with the front of house manager to ensure packaging quotas are met
- Clean and sanitize brewing equipment and work areas
- Package finished products for distribution
- Perform basic mechanical tasks related to brewing equipment
- Adhere to food safety standards and regulations
- Deliver packaged product and kegs to our local customers

**Requirements**:

- Mechanical knowledge to operate and troubleshoot brewing equipment
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations
- Ability to sanitize equipment and work areas effectively
- Experience in fabricating or repairing equipment is a plus
- Previous work in the food industry or food processing is beneficial
- Knowledge of packaging processes in a manufacturing setting
- Must be able to lift at LEAST 50lbs comfortably and repetitively
- Understanding of food safety practices and regulations
- Serving it right certificate **is** required to work in a B.C Brewery
- a logical and safety oriented approach to working with sanitization chemicals.
- a Valid drivers license
- Organization and being able to effectively manage your own time is essential
- Ability to work unsupervised

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 5 - 10 per week
