Evening Janitor

1. At the beginning of each shift look for any deficiencies (ie. burnt out light bulbs, damaged walls, carpets are not fraying or excessively dirty) can do spot steam cleaning - with in house equipment)

2. Running the floor scrubber in the Care Units and cleaning the common area floors i

3. Spot cleaning carpets in the residence.

4. Taking out all recycling and garbage from Care Units before the end of shift.

5. Cleaning all public washrooms in the building

6. Helping nursing and recreation staff with dinner service in Care Units, and clearing of dishes - returning them to main kitchen

7. Running washer / dryer with napkins and tablecloths

**Qualifications**
- Experience in cleaning (residential, commercial, institutional)
- Knowledge of facilities maintenance and maintenance tasks
- Ability to work independently and efficiently
- Attention to detail and thoroughness in cleaning tasks
- Strong organizational skills
- Empathy and patience

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $19.20 per hour

Expected hours: 30 - 35 per week
