Construction Laborer

**Duties**
- Assist in the construction of residential RTM homes
- Operate hand tools and power tools as directed by supervisors.
- Load and unload materials, ensuring they are stored properly on-site.
- Follow instructions from foremen and project managers to complete tasks effectively.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment by removing debris and hazardous materials.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to promote a safe working environment.
- Assist skilled tradespeople in their duties as needed.

**Qualifications**
- Previous experience in construction is not required but must be willing to work
- Ability to lift heavy objects (up to 50 pounds) and perform physically demanding tasks.
- Familiarity with basic hand tools and power tools is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
- Willingness to learn new skills and take direction from supervisors.
- A valid driver’s license is a plus but not mandatory.
- Must be reliable, punctual, and demonstrate a strong work ethic.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent, Apprenticeship

Pay: $17.00-$24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Melfort, SK: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Experience**:

- construction: 1 year (preferred)

**Language**:

- English (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (preferred)
