**Here's the role**

As a Claims Assessor, you will be responsible for processing GMS claims submitted through our multiple mediums in order to ensure claims payments are made within our standard turnaround. Do you enjoy:

- Adjudicating health, dental and drug claims?
- Liaising with clients and different partners to investigate and/or process claims?
- Identifying and investigating unusual claims?

**Customer Focus** - do you regularly meet the needs of the customer through careful evaluation of risks and benefits?
**Quality Orientation** - completes tasks with a high level of accuracy; routinely checks inputs, outputs, tasks, and processes to ensure they are error free.
**Communication** - communicates clearly and concisely both in writing and verbal conversations; listens to others and responds accurately to meet the needs of the customer or client by accurately interpreting tone of voice and body language

**Your must haves**
- High school diploma required, (college certificate, university degree an asset) or combination of education and work experience.
- One to three years insurance experience, medical or dental office experience, or financial services industry experience is an asset.
- Medical and Dental terminology is an asset.
- An understanding of MS Office.
