**Experienced Warehouse Associate (ideally with forklift certification)**

Major automotive parts distribution center requires day shift workers. Multiple positions available.

Must be ambitious, hardworking and professional.

**Warehouse worker responsibilities and duties.**
- Pick merchandise from the distribution center and transport it to the shipping bay.
- Receive merchandise for return or delivery and verify its contents.
- Count and stock merchandise based on inventory control log.
- Identify damaged, lost or missing merchandise and notify supervisor immediately.
- Pack orders in an orderly manner and close cartons so they are prepared for shipping.
- Treat merchandise with care and concern at all times.
- Scan all containers to determine appropriate contents as well as end destination

**Warehouse Worker qualifications and skills**
- High school diploma/GED preferred
- Current forklift certification a plus
- Previous warehouse experience preferred
- Ability to work on feet and carry objects weighing up to 50 lbs
- General labor, general labour, skilled labor, carpenter, carpentry, construction, renovation, mechanic, auto parts, landscape, warehouse associate, warehouse worker, steel worker, order picker, picker packer, shipper, forklift driver, material handler, shipper/receiver, laborer, labourer, packaging

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.51 per hour
