**Responsibilities and Duties**:
- Provide meal preparation, light housekeeping, and/or provide companionship and personal care.
- Support individuals with range of motion exercises and other daily activities.
- Accompany clients to their appointments and/or assist them with running errands.
- Follow the care plan provided by the Care Manager and carry out the necessary actions for the client accordingly.
- Meet the safety needs of the client and use equipment safely and properly.
- Function within the boundaries of your own expertise and understanding, ensuring safe and proficient practice that aligns with the responsibilities outlined in the job description.
- Complete records and documentation accurately and thoroughly.
**Requirements**:
- Previous caregiving experience is an asset.
- Must be able to speak and write in English. Other languages will be an asset.
- Current Criminal Record Check.
- Valid driver’s license and car is an asset.
- Care aide registered with BC registry is an asset.
