We are currently seeking a customer service oriented, dedicated, and knowledgeable full-time **Appliance, Flooring, and Kitchen Sales Associate**to join our team.

**About the Role**
- As an Appliance, Flooring, and Kitchen Sales Associate, you will promote, sell, and secure orders from both existing and prospective customers, focusing on whole-home interior renovations and finishing. You’ll quote, organize, and recommend appliance, flooring options, and related kitchen products and designs. Your goal will be to maximize sales, profitability, and customer satisfaction, helping clients transform their homes while maintaining a high standard of service. The key role responsibilities also include:
**Customer Service**:

- Greet customers promptly and provide exceptional service to ensure a positive shopping experience.
- Assist customers in locating and comparing merchandise, recommending additional items to complete projects.
- Handle complaints and resolve problems to ensure customer satisfaction and encourage repeat business.
- Facilitate merchandise exchanges as required.

**Sales**:

- Develop and implement a personal sales strategy.
- Determine customers' needs through open-ended questions, provide detailed product knowledge, and offer solutions.
- Demonstrate product features and benefits, and educate customers on warranties, specifications, and maintenance.
- Upsell complementary services like home installation, delivery, and extended warranties.
- Visit job sites to assess requirements and provide customized product recommendations.
- Process special orders and follow up with customers when their items arrive.
- Create and update in-store displays for promotions and events.
- Maintain accurate pricing information and update promotional materials as needed.
- Keep display samples and stock areas clean and organized.
- Order merchandise according to store policies and procedures.

**Administration**:

- Follow store policies on invoicing, loss prevention, delivery charges, and merchandise handling.
- Utilize design Software for kitchen cabinet sales, and integrated management system (ProfitMaster) for ordering.

**What We’re Looking for in You**
- 3+ years of experience in appliance sales or related fields like flooring or kitchen design.
- High school diploma.
- Proficiency with web-based tools (e.g., researching specifications, warranties).
- Knowledge of appliance industry, kitchen materials, and product features/benefits.
- Experience with POS systems and 20/20 Design Software an asset.
- Retail background with sales training or education ideal.
- Basic business administration or entrepreneurial skills a must.
- Exceptional customer service skills and a motivated, patient attitude.
- Strong communication and sales abilities.
- Creative with a good visual aptitude and excellent measurement skills.
- Team player with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and day shifts.
- Eager to learn and stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge.
