Assistant Controller

In the role of Assistant Controller, you will be instrumental in overseeing the financial operations of the organization, reporting directly to the Controller.

Duties of the Assistant Controller include:

- Records the financial operations of the dealership.
- Prepares invoices and compiles relevant data for the dealership.
- Obtains the financial data required for the maintenance of the accounting records.
- Manages and monitors the dealership’s bank of in-house leases.
- Applies generally accepted accounting principles to all transactions and to the compilation of monthly financial statements.
- Manages the dealership’s daily flooring requirements.
- Reconciles and monitors various control accounts.

Schedule: 8 to 4:30, Monday to Friday

**Requirements**:

- minimum 3 years hands-on experience in an accounting department
- post-secondary diploma / degree in Accounting
- strong Microsoft Excel skills
- strong written and spoken English

Assets:

- The ability to speak and understand French
- Experience using Reynolds and Reynolds

Please note that we are located on the Highway and are not on a public transit route. You will need your own means of transportation to get to and from work.

Pay: $58,000.00-$79,000.00 per year
