Our client, a quickly expanding logistics provider, is looking for Class 3 drivers in the Dorval area.

Job description

Operate a 26ft automatic straight truck with tailgate, within 2 hour radius of Brossard
Responsible for the safe and timely delivery of car parts
Monitor vehicle performance and mechanical fitness
Complete driver log book, inspection reports, incident reports

Shifts

Mon-Friday, varied start times from 11pm-2am, average of 8-11 hours/day

**Skills**:
Physical ability and comfort lifting up to 75lbs
Comfortable with technology, using apps on phone
Professionalism and excellence in customer service
Team player works well with a team
Time management and punctuality
Highly safety conscious

Education & Experience

Minimum 2 years verifiable experience in commercial Class 3 driving
Valid Class 3 License
Valid Transportation of Dangerous Goods card (or willingness to complete)
Valid Abstract
Criminal record check required
Ability to lift up to and including 50lbs
Ability to provide detailed employment history and references from past 2 years

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 6 months

**Salary**: $26.00-$27.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week

Schedule:
10 hour shift
8 hour shift
Monday to Friday
Night shift
Supplemental pay types:
Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:
Dorval, QC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
