Labourer Required for Busy Potato Processing Plant

Sherwood Park, Canada NPS Farms Ltd. Full time

Sherwood Park, AB seed potato farm is looking for General Labourers with potato production / processing experience.

Work will consist of manually sorting debris (dirt lumps, rocks, vines) from potato lines. Be advised that this is a dusty, dirty environment, with long days standing at grading line and cleaning up around loud running equipment.

This is full time work and requires availability to work M-Sat, 7:30 am-7 pm during peak seasons. Regular winter hours are M-F, 7:30 am - 5 pm.

Employment requirements: Reliable transportation, good hand eye coordination, excellent multi tasking skills, the ability to lift 50 lbs consistently, and ability to work in varying weather conditions.

Other assets of consideration include: Detailed oriented, organized individual. Strong mechanical abilities. Basic hand/power tools knowledge. Forklift, and powered pallet jack experience.

**Salary**: $15.00-$18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 45 per week
