Custan Food Group is a specialty food importer and distributor. We are a fast-paced distributor servicing the retail market with specialty foods from around the world. Our goal is to bring the best products to our customers in the most efficient and timely manner. As a delivery driver and receiver, you will split your time between working in the warehouse and delivering orders to customers.

**Job Title**:Delivery Driver & Receiver **Shift**: Days

**Responsibilities**:

- Unloading of goods from various delivery vehicles
- Ensure daily product returns are processed and returned to inventory or destroyed
- Pull Purchaser Orders from Purchasing office and accurately match with Vendor supplied paperwork, verify received products against paperwork (ex. quantity, traceability numbers, best before dates, etc.
- Receive and store all products onto rack and/or identified storage locations
- Assist with product stock/cycle counts as required
- Load delivery vehicle for daily deliveries/orders
- Ensure customers receive products as per their orders and invoices, making sure proper paperwork is completed and returned to the office
- Miscellaneous Shipping/Receiving activities as required (Ex. packaging, locating product, etc.)
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment using 5S principles

**Qualifications**:

- Completion of High school or equivalent
- A Valid G Licence
- Must have 3+ years of directly related experience
- Basic reading, writing and math skills; understanding of a distribution business
- Strong computer knowledge for data entry-type functions
- Strong attention to detail
- Customer Service Oriented
- A Clean Drivers Abstract
- A Clean Police Record Check
- Excellent time management and multi-tasking skills combined with an ability to effectively manage changing priorities
- Ability to work under pressure
- Capable of working with mínimal supervision
- Ability to lift up to 40-50lbs
- Forklift certification on counterbalance and narrow aisle reach trucks an asset

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $19.00-$22.00 per hour
