Machinist Apprentice

Kaltech Manufacturing Ltd., an ISO certified machining company, is seeking a dedicated individual who would like to be a machinist, or is part way through his apprenticeship and looking for a better opportunity.

This position is ideal for the individual that enjoys variety in their daily work and finds the potential of high precision machining both challenging and rewarding.

Needed attributes:

- Must be legally able to work in Canada (citizen or landed immigrant).
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to operate effectively in a team environment.
- Must be able to commute to Tilbury, Delta during the week by 7am
- Must be responsible and determined

Desired Skills to gain:

- Experience with manual Horizontal and Vertical boring mills, Planers and Lathes
- Experience with large CNC Horizontal & Vertical machining centers
- Experience with the use of all measuring instruments associated with accuracy and quality assurance.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and manufacturing drawings.
