**Job Summary**

We at Flooreno Building Supplies are seeking a motivated and customer-oriented Cashier to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our customers while efficiently processing transactions. You will play a crucial part in enhancing the customer experience through effective communication and attention to detail at the checkout.

**Duties**
- Greet customers warmly and assist them with the checkout process
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately and efficiently
- Handle customer payments, returns, and exchanges in a professional manner
- Maintain a clean and organized checkout area to enhance the shopping experience
- Respond to customer inquiries and resolve issues promptly using excellent customer service skills
- Demonstrate strong phone etiquette when handling customer calls
- Support the sales team as needed with light showroom duties

**Experience**
- Previous experience as a cashier or in retail sales (preferably in building materials)
- Strong customer service skills with a focus on creating positive shopping experiences
- Excellent communication skills in English, both verbal and written
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in time management and multitasking

**We are looking for someone to cover the following shifts**:
**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $18.00 per hour

**Flexible Language Requirement**:
French not required

**Ability to Commute/Relocate**:
Mississauga, ON: Reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person

Pay: $18.00-$19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 45 per week
