Our faculty are dedicated educators and academics engaged in world-class research focusing on the areas of corporate governance and consumer and organizational behaviour. Department website: DAN Management - Western University **Responsibilities**: - Markers must be available for two-hour on-line training session which will be held on an evening or weekend prior to the commencement of the marking sessions. The Marker will be responsible for assessing, grading and providing detailed feedback on a variety of written work completed by students, including midterms, and final exams. The incumbent will evaluate the students' work in accordance with the marking guidelines, provide corrections and value-added feedback, and submit grades for review based on specific guidelines from the Instructor and Marking Coordinator. The incumbent will be required to submit detailed written feedback to students based on the quality of work received with an assessment of the work done and how to improve for future case submissions **Qualifications** Eligibility Requirement: - Individual has passed the CFE, or is a fully qualified CPA, CPA-CA, CPA-CMA or CPA-CGA - Previous marking experience preferred at CPA-PEP, CPA Capstone 2 or CFE level. Skills, Abilities & Expertise: - In-depth knowledge of the material covered in the course/program recommendations or feedback - Attention to detail and proofreading abilities with an excellent command of the English language - Excellent writing skills to convey information and feedback in a clear and effective manner - Basic computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite - Ability to work in a manner that models best practices in confidentiality standards - Ability to employ a systematic and efficient approach to work - Ability to provide feedback in a way that is positively received - Personable and courteous in working relationships with colleagues, students and the public - Ability to prioritize and organize a fluctuating work load - Demonstrated ability to understand and resolve issues **Why Western?**: Consideration of applicants will include an assessment of previous performance, experience, and qualifications.
