**Location**:Vaughan, ON
**Type of employment**:Part-time 20 hours per week, temporary 3 month contract
- **What to expect.**_
The Bilingual Collector is responsible for ensuring prompt payment on client accounts as assigned.
**Responsibilities**:
- Total accountability for accounts assigned
- Ensure prompt payment of invoices
- Provide client with necessary items for payment of invoices
- Prepare any adjustments required to adjust clients’ invoices
- Monthly reporting of account status
- Reprint invoices as required
- Pull bills of lading as required
- Pull cash receipt reports as required
- Analysis of any self-payment clients to ensure proper payment on account
- Communicate any clients’ requests to proper departments to correct issues
- Classify accounts by which is most outstanding
- Preparing special reports for certain customers on a weekly basis
- Other duties as assigned by manager
- **What you need.**_
- Bilingual (English and French)
- Secondary School Diploma or equivalent experience
- 2- 5 years’ experience in shipping or collections industry
- Knowledge of accounts receivable and office administration procedures
- Good computer skills in MS Office: Word, Excel and Outlook
- Excellent time management and organizational skills
- Good oral and written communication skills
- Experience with Great Plains is an asset
**Job Types**: Part-time, Fixed term contract
Contract length: 3 months
Expected hours: No more than 20 per week

- Monday to Friday
