Ops Supervisor

Il s’agit d’un poste de superviseur de première ligne qui soutient la culture FedEx de sécurité avant tout et qui gère des opérations quotidiennes spécifiques et un personnel assigné. Responsable d’assurer un tri sûr et efficace des colis grâce à la gestion des manutentionnaires de colis. Le superviseur des opérations peut également gérer les employés et les fonctions administratives et s’assurer que les processus administratifs sont conformes aux politiques et procédures de FedEx et aux réglementations gouvernementales.
**ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS**
- Serves as a champion for FedEx's Safety Above All Culture and supports all related initiatives
- Management responsibilities include, but are not limited to: hiring, terminations, coaching, training, recognition and rewards, performance evaluation and management, discipline, addressing employee concerns and staff productivity
- Plans, organizes, staffs, directs and controls specific day-to-day operations
- Responsible for assigning and managing employees to ensure the safe and efficient sortation of packages through the facility, minimizing operational cost and maximizing operational quality, including the movement, tracking and administration of trailers (in conjunction with the linehaul department as applicable)
- Analyzes operational performance through direct observation, interpretation of reports and collaboration with others.Determines opportunities for improvement of key metrics and executes action plans to achieve results
- Leads daily employee and/or planning meetings to ensure workforce communication and understanding of operational updates and daily goals; Includes communication and public speaking to small and large audiences on a regular basis
- Participates in the development of and responsible for administering company employee relations strategies, including maintaining the confidentiality of such material and matters
- Participates in the development of and responsible for administering company safety strategies and programs
- Investigates, resolves and/or escalates customer service issues, as appropriate
- Responsible for training new employees regarding job duties and performance expectations and ensuring compliance with FXG policies, procedures and other training requirements, including but not limited to training related to quality assurance, SWAK, hazardous materials, Video Event Data Recorder (VEDR) coaching, and dock safety
- Mentors and develops critical skill sets for new and/or less-experienced Operations Supervisors
- Adapts quickly to change to meet dynamic business needs; Displays flexibility and appropriate sense of urgency, while leading and engaging employees in a positive an professional manner
- Peforms other duties as assigned
Scolarité minimum
- Diplôme d’études secondaires ou GED ; diplôme de premier cycle souhaitable.
- Au lieu d’une expérience, d’un programme de certification ou d’un certificat dans un domaine connexe ou de plus de 2 ans de cours collégiaux vers un diplôme
- Diplôme de premier cycle (souhaitable).
Expérience minimum
- Six (6) mois d’expérience requise dans les domaines suivants : manutentionnaire de colis chez FedEx, environnement rapide (commerce de détail, hôtellerie, centre de traitement des commandes, entrepôt, quai ou
salle des stocks ou des fonctions de stock), une expérience militaire avec une décharge honorable ou une expérience de supervision.

- Capacité d’inspirer une vision commune, de rendre autonome et de motiver une équipe
- Capacité démontrée d’établir un rapport professionnel, de mener efficacement une équipe et d’influencer positivement divers groupes.
- Capacité démontrée d’appliquer un bon jugement professionnel pour fixer et atteindre les objectifs.
- Compétences en communication orale et écrite nécessaires pour communiquer avec divers niveaux d’auditoire et divers groupes
- Capacité de fournir aux employés des instructions sur les processus et les pratiques
- Capacité de lire, d’interpréter et de tirer des conclusions à partir de données numériques et d’informations écrites
- Capacité d’accompagner professionnellement, d’encadrer et d’agir comme source de connaissances pour les autres employés.
Conditions de travail
- Peut avoir besoin de soulever et de transporter jusqu’à 50 lb
- Peut travailler au froid ou à la chaleur.
- Peut travailler dans un environnement avec un bruit fort et des vapeursDéplacements minimums requis
**Qualifications Requises**:Doit être disponible pour travailler du mercredi au dimanche de 3h30 à 9h00 ou du jeudi au lundi de 3h30 à 9h00 ou du samedi au mercredi de 3h30 à 9h00. Must be available to work Wednesday to Sunday 3:30am-9:00am or Thursday to Monday 3:30am-9:00am or Saturday to Wednesday 3:30am-9:00am
