**Overview**

We are seeking a **dedicated and detail-oriented Facilities Maintenance Technician** to join our team. This role is essential to maintaining the **cleanliness, safety, and operational efficiency** of our commercial facilities.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**
- Perform thorough cleaning of commercial spaces, including offices, restrooms, break rooms, and common areas.
- Conduct routine maintenance tasks, such as inspecting and repairing equipment, fixtures, and general building infrastructure.
- Assist with building upkeep — light repairs, replacing fixtures, and ensuring safety protocols are followed.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of all work areas, storage spaces, and equipment.
- Collaborate with team members to coordinate cleaning schedules and maintenance activities efficiently.
- Monitor and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies, maintenance tools, and report when replenishment is needed.
- Follow all **health and safety procedures** to ensure a secure environment for staff and visitors.
- Aid in general groundskeeping and ensure exterior areas are tidy and well-maintained.
- Report facility issues promptly to management and assist with coordinating contractors for necessary repairs.
- Ensure the facility is **secure and locked up** at the end of each workday.

**Experience & Qualifications**
- Previous experience in **cleaning, janitorial, or commercial facility maintenance** preferred.
- Background in general maintenance, repairs, or building management is an asset.
- Knowledge of cleaning products, equipment, and safety procedures.
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team in a busy environment.
- Physically capable of performing manual tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Valid driver’s license preferred.
