**Job Summary**

**Responsibilities**
- Conduct thorough examinations of patients' feet and ankles to diagnose conditions.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for various podiatric issues, including pain management strategies.
- Administer medications as needed and monitor patient responses.
- Provide acute care for injuries or infections related to the foot and ankle.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care.
- Maintain accurate medical records using Cerner or similar electronic health record systems.
- Engage in research activities to stay current with advancements in podiatric medicine.
- Prescribing, designing, and creating custom foot orthoses
- Participate in home care visits when necessary to provide ongoing support for patients.

**Experience**
- Certification as a Chiropodist, eligible to practice in Ontario.
- Physiotherapist Licensed
- Minimum of 1 years of experience, preferably in a community health setting.
- Expertise in orthotic design and minor surgical procedures.
- Proficiency in using Electronic Health Records; familiarity with Nightingale on Demand or PS Suites is an asset.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Proven ability to work collaboratively across teams and with diverse populations.
