Founded in 1998, Lafayette Group of Companies is headquartered in the Canadian High Tech Center in Markham, Toronto. “Lafayette” is a multinational company in both North America and Asia that manufacturing, processing and distributing baking products and providing technical support for various companies such as airlines, hotels, cafes, retail and grocery chains and food services corporations.
We are searching for a Food Safety and Quality Assurance Associate to join our team.
The Basic Duties and Responsibilities will be:
- Oversee the entire production process, looking out for specific problems
- Implement various quality control programs
- Keep the program up-to-date in the required time frame; perform verifications (records and onsite) on the QA system
- Perform internal audits and reassessments to validate the QA system (SQF & HACCP)
**Requirements**:
- Must have education in Food science related disciplines
- Must be able to communicate (both written and oral) in Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese)
- Recent college graduate is welcome to apply
