**Job Overview**

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Greet customers promptly when they arrive in the bays and lumberyard and load purchased items into their vehicle
- Move heavy and bulky merchandise for customers and sales personnel (loading customer vehicles, loading/unloading delivery trucks, moving around products for sales team, replenishing lumber bins, etc.)
- Maintain inventory in lumberyard and protect from weather
- Restock building materials and other products
- Provide friendly service to customers and report any customer issues to management Report any damage to the building/equipment immediately
- Inspect forklift before using it and operate safely
- Collaborate with other team members to come up with the best solutions to day-to-day problems
- Strict adherence to the company’s policy and procedures
- Ensure Invoicing procedures are being followed
- Dress code must be followed
- Help with deliveries as needed
- Other duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- Ability to communicate effectively with customers, management, and other employees in person, by telephone, or by FM radio.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Previous warehouse or lumberyard experience is considered an asset

**Physical Requirements**
- Able to lift 50 lbs regularly and up to 100 lbs occasionally
- Able to bend, twist, & reach
- Able to work in all weather conditions (heat, cold, sun, rain, & snow)

**Schedule (two-week alternating)**:
Every second weekend off

Weekday shifts 7:00 AM-4:00 PM

Saturday shifts 8:00 AM-5:00 PM or 9:00 AM-6:00 PM

Sunday shifts 9:45 to 5

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.70 per hour
