As one of Canada’s largest and fastest growing digital assets brokerage, Secure Digital Markets has streamlined the acquisition and liquidation of digital assets to ensure that all of our customers' needs are met in a secure and compliant manner.

**Responsibilities & Expectations**:
Based out of our Downtown Toronto office, with the flexibility of remote work, the main responsibilities and expectations for the role are:

- Establish and maintain international banking and finance relationships while supporting existing management.
- Establish and maintain international banking relationships;
- Establish and maintain international foreign exchange (FX) relationships;
- Establish a full foreign exchange (FX) capability based in Toronto;
- Establish and maintain international trade finance relationships;
- Develop and create international Security Token Offering (STO) issuance platform;
- Design and launch Security Token Offerings (STO's) both asset and revenue backed;
- Implement new trading systems for existing crypto trading desk;
- Scale existing trading desk to meet international demand;
- Implement live crypto streaming to exchanges with post trade settlement;
- Source Ethereum Request for Comment 20 (ERC20) partners to introduce to our clients;
- Facilitate private placements of digital assets;
- Run the risk management committee to properly manage the firm's risk;
- Develop risk management protocols and procedures;
- Develop and implement strategies to manage the firm's risk; and
- Support and mentor existing management.

**Preferred Qualifications**:

- Experience in blockchain or crypto industry is an asset
- Start up experience is preferred
- Entrepreneurial background

**Experience & Other Requirements**:

- Minimum 5 years’ experience in financial trading;
- Demonstrated experience in digital assets incorporating crypto currencies, Security Token Offerings (STO's), staking, Initial Coin Offerings (ICO’s) and Alt coins;
- Ability to understand and structure complex trading strategies;
- Proven track record in developing new capital markets products through the fractionalization and digitization of existing assets; and
- Strong leadership experience in digital assets.
