**We are excited to be recruiting for Servers/Bartenders at The Wood Tavern, which is located in our amazing property, the Norwood Hotel.**

The Norwood Hotel has always been an innovative leader in the hotel industry. The Norwood Hotel has an interesting and diverse history dating back to the latter part of the 1800’s. The earliest records available indicate a photograph of the hotel in 1895. In 1937, the Hotel came under the ownership of the late Merle Sparrow and has been operated by the Sparrow family ever since. This longevity in ownership makes the Norwood the oldest operated family hotel in Manitoba and one, if not the oldest in all of Western Canada.

**Job Summary**:
Join our team at **The Wood Tavern** as a Server/Bartender and be part of a dynamic food & beverage environment dedicated to delivering exceptional dining experiences. As a Server/Bartender, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest level or service and satisfaction to our customers. If you have a passion for the hospitality industry and enjoy working in a fast-paced restaurant setting, we welcome you to apply.

**Duties**:
1. Serves guests food and beverages within restaurant standards with the guests’ needs and concerns placed first.

2. Utilizes upselling and suggestive selling techniques, as well as menu item recommendations.

3. Maintains upkeep in section, including general cleanliness, pre-bussing, floor and resetting of tables as required.

4. Performs general cleaning duties such as cutlery polishing, stocking, sweeping, polishing glassware, etc.

5. Other duties as assigned.

**What you bring to the table**:
1. At least 1-2 years of Serving experience in a fast-paced environment

2. A positive and hardworking attitude

3. Ability to effectively communicate with team members.

4. The ability to stay focused in a high volume, fast paced industry and ensure accuracy and procedures are followed.

**Job Type**: Part-time

Pay: From $15.80 per hour

Expected hours: 16 - 24 per week
