Plans and manages personnel and physical assets within the Richmond Hill, Canada facility. Standardizes work processes to produce a more efficient operation. Develops and implements operational goals and improvement to existing operational policies.

**Job Duties**:

- Developing and implementing improvements to policies and procedures to improve the efficiency of the distribution center looking to technological or human resource strategies. Coordinating workflow to ensure an efficient and productive operation that meets the requirements of the stakeholders.
- Oversees receiving process ensuring high quality and efficiency. Plans and organizes the placement of products within the warehouse to facilitate an efficient picking and packing process.
- Ensures compliance with all existing operational controls, policies and procedures. Reviews and approves all Inventory Adjustments and oversees Cycle Count Program.
- Oversee picking, packing and shipping products to customers domestically and internationally including coordinating various special handling requirements for customers.
- Preparing documentation for shipment of Olympus products to other nations. Ensuring compliance with export and import regulations and that customer or other shipping instructions are noted and followed.
- Procuring shipping and office supplies to support the operation of the distribution center and an offsite warehouse. Reviewing and processing activity logs and regular and temporary worker time recordings in ADP System.
- Planning and coordinating the flow of work based on anticipated volumes and other factors, provide solutions to avoid unnecessary delays.
- Analyzes and evaluates operational costs and service levels to uncover areas of opportunity for improvement. Completes monthly reports representing the department's activities against goals.
- Addresses and resolves disciplinary issues work with direct Supervisor and Human Resources as appropriate.
- Other duties as assigned

**Job Requirements**:
**REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelors Degree or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 7 years distribution/inventory or related work experience from an operational perspective with at least 3 years of management experience.

**PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS**:

- APICS certified a plus.
- Leadership skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills.
- Excellent interpersonal, creative and analytical skills.
- Computer literate.
