Based in our GTA office, the role of the principal Ontario Land Surveyor at Addison Partners will encompass a wide array of responsibilities, with a primary focus on project management for land surveying projects throughout Ontario. As a member of a team that caters comprehensive traditional surveying services to clients across the private and public sectors.

**Your Responsibilities**:

- Handle bid preparation, project setup, logistics, resource and technical planning, execution, billing, and collections.
- Assume responsibility for internal and external client relations, as well as contribute to business development.
- Manage cadastral surveys for land development, condo development, property surveys and related services.
- Oversee field crews both on-site and remotely from the office.
- Supervise drafting and QA/QC personnel in the creation of cadastral survey products.
- Review and endorse cadastral survey plans and reports.

**Desired Qualifications**:

- You have accumulated 5+ years of professional cadastral surveying experience in Ontario as a licensed Ontario Land Surveyor.
- You have an aptitude for business development and exercise independent judgment in alignment with business objectives.
- You understand the capabilities and limitations of state-of-the-art land surveying equipment and techniques.
- You are open to travel for site inspections and fieldwork, as required.
- You can adapt and modify strategies or recommendations to achieve desired outcomes.

**Your Skill Set**:

- High motivation with results-oriented focus
- Superior organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Strong interpersonal and critical thinking skills
- Excellent communication skills (oral and written)
- Thorough knowledge of CAD systems, preferably Microstation, and a good understanding of Total Station and Data Collector technology. A working knowledge of Global Positioning Systems is an asset and excellent communication skills are essential for this role.

**Salary**: $121,329.66-$183,299.09 per year
