Water Truck Driver

**Cutting Edge Landscaping is currently looking for a Water Truck Driver/Operator to join our dynamic team**
**SUMMARY**
The Water Truck Driver/Operator will demonstrate an excellent driving skills and vehicle safety in order to keep our completed sites watered, alive, and looking beautiful.
The position requires a proven track record in attendance and reliability. Also exceptional time management skills and the ability to communicate effectively. Lastly a big part of the position requires enjoying working independently, while still contributing to a team.
**KEY RESPONSIBILITIES**:
- Safely operate a water truck to transport water to designated locations.
- Adhere to traffic and DOT laws and regulations.
- Ensure proper loading and unloading of water from designated sources with proper permits assigned. Monitor and maintain the quality and quantity of water during transportation.
- Make sure all pumps, hoses, keys, and other tools are inspected and in working order.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections daily.
- Plan and follow routes for efficient water delivery.
- Interact professionally with customer and other employees.
- Uphold a positive and professional image for the company.
- Knowledge of proper load securement.
- Completely daily safety records, inspections, and site logs.
- Attend safety meetings and reviews.
- Uphold our safety culture
- Ability to follow GPS, maps, and directions
- Comfortable working long hours in all weather conditions
**QUALIFICATIONS**:
- Previous experience an asset
- Ability to lift 50lbs
- Bend, rotate and stand for long periods of time
- Class 5 Drivers Licence with 3 year clean driver's abstract
- CSTS 2020
- First Aid Certification an asset
- Strong working knowledge of landscaping an asset
- Ability to use various in-house software programs
- Strong organizational and communication skills
- Competent time management skills
- Flexibility to multi-task
- Able to meet deadlines
- Able to work both in a team environment and independently
- Strong attention to detail
**Job Types**: Full-time, Temporary
Pay: $22.00-$24.00 per hour
