**Overview**

**Responsibilities**
- Operate dump trucks to transport various materials, including dirt, gravel, and asphalt, to designated locations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure it is in safe working condition.
- Follow all traffic laws and safety regulations while driving in various weather conditions.
- Communicate effectively with site supervisors and other team members regarding delivery schedules and material needs.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, materials transported, and any incidents or issues that arise during transport.
- Assist with loading and unloading materials as needed, utilizing proper techniques to ensure safety.
- Perform minor automotive repairs and maintenance on the truck as necessary to keep it in optimal condition.

**Qualifications**
- Valid commercial driver's license with a clean driving record.
- Must be able to operate a manual transmission efficiently
- Proven experience in heavy equipment operation, particularly with dump trucks.
- Familiarity with freight handling procedures and regulations.
- Basic knowledge of automotive repair for minor maintenance tasks.
- Experience operating forklifts is a plus but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety practices.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Air brake endorsement required
