**Note**:This role is supported by a flexible work arrangement where the individual can work from home a few days a week as required.
**What will you be doing in this role?**:
**Recruiting**:
- Recruit quality advisors and firms working closely with the VP, Sales and other members of the Sales team
- Participate in negotiation of contract/compensation during recruitment in conjunction with the VP, Sales
**Sales Growth**:
- Maintain relationships with Elite advisors and firms and help to identify opportunities for further growth
- Foster relationships with regional carriers and develop strategic partnerships to grow sales, continuously review plans, and identify opportunities
- Work closely with the VP, Sales to execute on the region’s strategic direction, sales plan, and lead corporate initiatives
- Regularly conduct national sales calls, report on the region’s financials, and discuss production expectations
- Supports the regional budget management and quarterly branch sales reviews
- Support the Sales team in advisor business development activities such as developing advisor focused solutions and business plans, coaching, mentoring, and practice management activities
- Deepen relationship with Canada Life including growing, developing and strengthening relationships with regional counterparts
- Share the company vision and execute plans
**Relationship Management**:
- Provide escalation support and solutions in collaboration with the VP, Sales
- Work in collaboration with regional sales cohort
**Other**:
- Use Salesforce to track activities and provide oversight of the team
- Provide oversight and approval on advisor offerings
- Provide oversight of advisor debt across the region

**What qualifications and experience are required?**:
- 5-10 years of progressive experience in the insurance and financial services industry
- College Diploma, University degree, or equivalent experience
- LLQP license required
- Mutual Funds license is an asset
- Possesses expert knowledge of insurance and investments sales
