**The Village Schoolhouse** is a Reggio-inspired private school in Cambridge, Ontario, serving students from JK through Grade 6. We're currently hiring a caring, reliable, and creative **After Care Program Coordinator** to support our students at the end of their school day.

**Responsibilities**:

- Supervise children during after-school hours in a safe, engaging environment
- Lead simple games, crafts, and quiet indoor activities
- Communicate with families during pickup time
- Ensure a smooth, calm end-of-day experience

You’ll be working with a small group — typically around 4 children, with a maximum of 8.

**Qualifications**:

- Experience working with children (e.g. childcare, teaching, camp counselling)
- Responsible, nurturing, and dependable
- First Aid/CPR and Vulnerable Sector Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Early childhood education or similar background is an asset but not required

**This role is ideal for**:

- Students in ECE or education programs
- Part-time workers looking for a consistent afternoon shift
- Anyone passionate about working with children in a calm and creative environment
