**Winkler Co-op** is hiring a full-time** Assistant Meat Manager **at the Morden Food Store location, in** Morden, MB.**

**What you’ll do**:
Working closely with the Manager, the Assistant Manager is responsible to execute the short-term goals and objectives of the Meat Department. The Assistant Manager is responsible to assist in the day-to-day operations, including adherence to brand, Food Safe and merchandising standards, customer service standards, meeting established productivity standards, leading, and directing staff, administrative duties, marketing efforts, image standards, safety and asset protection and government and sanitation standards.

The Assistant Meat Manager will live the Co-op Brand and strive to achieve and maintain positive and healthy relationships with co-workers and customers.

**Who you are**:
You are looking for a leadership position in a retail environment, and:

- Are committed to service excellence.
- Have experience leading and/or managing people (2 years preferred).
- Have intermediate computer skills, with a strong understanding of Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Have strong communication skills, attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Have a life-long commitment to learning.
- Can stand for extended periods of time and lift up to 40 lbs.
- Meat cutter experience an asset, but not a requirement.
- Willing to be trained in meat cutting is a requirement.
