Bakery Clerk

**Duties**:

- Provide exceptional customer service by greeting and assisting customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Operate the cash register and handle cash transactions accurately
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Assist with food preparation, including slicing bread, packaging baked goods, and arranging displays
- Follow proper food handling and sanitation procedures to ensure food safety
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bakery department, including cleaning equipment and work areas
- Stock shelves with fresh bakery products and rotate inventory to ensure freshness
- Assist customers with special orders or requests

**Skills**:

- Cashiering experience is preferred
- Knowledge of food handling and preparation techniques
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Basic math skills for cash handling and inventory management
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 6 months

Pay: $16.55-$22.33 per hour

Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
