Cobourg, Canada Esso Gas Station Full time

We are looking for a Gas Station Supervisor/Manager to join our Esso team. We are looking for a customer focused employee who is honest, friendly, schedules and supervises staff and reliable to work day and night shifts.

**Job Duties**:

- Performs all tasks and responsibilities of shift manager as outlined in the job descriptions.
- Performs paperwork duties and assists with products orders and inventory as needed.
- Assists with planning of special events and promotions.
- Perform cash register functions and other related activities.
- Service customers at the Point of Sale with the cash, card payments, issue receipts, refunds and/or tickets.
- Educate customers about ongoing promotions and sales.
- Greeting customers and maintain store cleanliness while meeting hygiene standards.
- Checking deliveries, pricing merchandise & restocking the store as per the needs.
- Conduct opening and closing shift functions.
- Keep a lookout for cars in the gas pump area.
- Helping answer customer questions.
- Other duties as necessary.

**Job Requirements**:

- Requires excellent communication skills ability to deal with all levels of team members. Computer knowledge is desirable.
- Must be able to work any area of the store when needed and to operate a computerized Point of Sale system/cash register. Position requires bending, standing, and walking the entire workday. Must have ability to lift 10 pounds frequently and up to 30 pounds occasionally.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $15.00-$17.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Cobourg, ON K9A 5Y5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Secondary School (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Retail management: 1 year (preferred)
