We are seeking a Associate Consultant to join our Coughlin team in Winnipeg.

**The Associate Consultant will**:

- Drafting of client materials including presentations, benchmarking analysis, proposals, financial statements, and member communications.
- Coordinating the set-up of new groups, and group changes, design changes, and rate changes.
- Completing analysis and supporting calculations and/or reconciliations for plan renewals, commissions, consulting, administration, and claims fees.
- Analyzing benefit plan activity and performance and proactively identify opportunities for improvement to lead consultant.
- Providing support to produce client agendas, prepare and maintain booklets and client admin kits, and benefit summaries.
- Liaising with claims, administration, and other departments, as required, to resolve plan issues.

**To be successful as a Associate Consultant **with Coughlin & Associates, you will need**:

- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft based programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong mathematical skills and attention to detail.
- College or University Degree in Business or related topics with two to three years of experience in the group benefits industry.
- Working towards a Life and A&S Insurance
- Working toward or has obtained Group Benefits Associate (GBA) or Certified Employee Benefit Specialist (CEBS)
- Experience with benefit administration systems an
- Excellent communication skills, both written and
- Strong analytical
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize to meet client and internal
- Excellent problem solving and troubleshooting
- Client focused with an unwavering commitment for service.
