NATURE OF WORK
- The job of Analyst Specialized in Information Technology involves more specifically the analysis, development, coordination, and monitoring of systems, methods, and processes in connection with, among others, processing information by computer or other means, organization and administrative operation, and communication structures, with a view to efficient use of the College’s resources.
- In particular, the Solutions and SharePoint Analyst works with stakeholders to understand their needs and then researches, evaluates, and recommends potential solutions. The solutions analyst may be involved in solution development, deployment, and integration with existing systems.
- RESPONSIBILITIES
- Reporting to the Coordinator IT Solutions, the analyst will:

- SharePoint- Identify and document user requirements
- Manage the College’s on premise and online SharePoint sites
- Identify new opportunities to use SharePoint at the College including document management
- Coordinate SharePoint development with the Web Developer
- Migrate the College’s on-premise SharePoint to online SharePoint including files on shared drives

Solutions- Work with the IT Server Team to identify and prepare the infrastructure or cloud services required to deploy solutions
- Prepare acquisition recommendation documentation, based on an analysis and comparison of various solutions, software evaluation results, impact, etc.
- Install, configure, and implement the selected solution working with vendor-supplied and/or -contracted resources as defined in the acquisition recommendation
- Develop user documentation
- Organize and facilitate workshops for end users
- Perform other related duties assigned by the Coordinator IT Solutions

**Requirements**:

- QUALIFICATIONS- A bachelor’s degree in an appropriate specialization, particularly:

- Computer Science
- Management Information Systems (MIS)
- Computer Engineering
- Administration- Strong Microsoft SharePoint experience including SharePoint server administration, site development, workflows, forms with JavaScript, and on-premises to online migration including shared drives
- Certification in Microsoft Power Platform is an asset
- Strong research and documentation skills
- Good communication skills in English (spoken and written)
- Ability to communicate effectively, be flexible and work collaboratively with technical staff and users

Testing may be required for Microsoft SharePoint, Power Platform, JavaScript, and English language skills**Comments**:
