Earth Child Montessori School Ltd. (hereafter known as the school), well established in Richmond, BC in 2001, is a full-day early learning Montessori program designed for infants and children up to 12 years old. The school is a government-licensed and approved group Montessori daycare center. In the past 20 years, the school has been expanding continually.

Our campus, which is located at 7780 Alderbridge Way, Richmond, has a capacity of 125 children ranging from ages 0-5 and for after school 25 children ranging from ages 5-12.

Main duties

  • Develop and implement learning programs to meet the physical, cognitive, cultural, emotional, and social development of children
  • Provide a nurturing, safe, stable, and enjoyable environment for our children
  • Enable children to have fun all day, regardless of whether they are playing or learning
  • Lead activities of children for learning, playing, skills developing, team working
  • Encourage children, parents, and staff to develop long-lasting friendships with one another
  • Observe children for signs of potential learning or behavioral problems and prepare reports
  • Encourage and support each child
  • Regularly communicate with parents and guardians regarding their children’s development and learning progress.

Employment Requirement：

  • ECE/ECEA License to Practice in BC is required.
  • Montessori Training (preferred but not necessary)
  • Completion of Criminal Record Check
  • Childcare First Aid certificate
  • Work experience in the child care field is an asset.
  • Food Safe Certificate is an asset
  • Special Needs certificate is an asset

Pay: $18.00-$23.00 per hour

  • Overtime pay
