**Environmental Remediation Project Manager**
We have partnered with a local Winnipeg based business that provides emergency restoration services to residential and commercial buildings to find a new Environmental Remediation Project Manager to add to their growing Environmental Services team
As a Project Manager, you’ll be responsible for leading the claims service process from start to finish including reception of the claim, reviewing damaged property, estimating repairs and overseeing the entirety of the project restoration. Critical communication and timely responses are a high priority for this position when interacting with vendors, brokers, clients and all personnel.

**Responsibilities**
- Prospect and acquire new business by marketing to new clientele and servicing existing contracts;
- Monitor public tenders for bid opportunities and provide competitive RFP submissions;
- Accept claims and respond with urgency to contract requirements as necessary;
- Contact clients to acknowledge claim acceptance and arrange meetings to assess properties;
- Strong understanding of the claim file process and project cycle times;
- Create detailed restoration plans and estimates for client approval of in-scope area(s), through assessing damages, accurately measuring and sketching areas, taking photos, and ensuring information is gathered where needs are required;
- Provide detailed and professional reports to clients, including scope of work, technical reporting and proposals;
- Lead and oversee all active projects by providing direction and setting quality of work standards with abatement technicians to ensure timelines and client expectations are met;
- Oversee site and ensuring safety standards are met by all employees, sub trades and clients;
- Attend bimonthly management meetings to forecast claims closing and review AR;
- Ensure accuracy of closing and overall margins are reached;
- Understand all contract clients’ compliance and protocols, ensuring all SLAs (Service Level Agreements) are met;
- Build new and maintain existing relationships with the industry personnel;
- Encourage departmental growth through development of new services in occupational hygiene and hazardous material risk assessments;
- Plays a lead role on site for safety, and adherence to National COR Safety Standards which include but are not limited to PPE and or safety reposting and documentation.
**Required Skills and Experience**
- 2-3 years previous experience in a Project Manager or Occupational Hygiene related role;
- Post-secondary education in construction or anoother related field would be an asset;
- Possessing a C.E.T designation would be considered an asset;
- Knowledge of the restoration industry including tools, policies, safety procedures and materials;
- Excellent attention to detail;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, etc.);
- Proven problem-solving abilities, with ability to practice sound judgement;
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate clearly and professionally with external clients and insurance providers;
- Exceptional interpersonal skills;
- Ability to adapt to and manage a constantly changing, dynamic workflow with proficiency and calm;
- Valid Class 5 Drivers License;
- Ability to travel and attend the construction sites on an as needed basis;
- Exceptional organization skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks and deadlines with confidence;
- Ability to work independently and be a strong team player.
