Schoolhouse Montessori located in Mississauga, Ontario is licensed by the Ministry of Education operating a Montessori curriculum for children eighteen months to six years. We offer full-day, half-day, and part-time programs. We are currently seeking an assistant teacher, A trained individual who will be a good fit for our inclusive environment.
- Maintain a high-quality environment keeping well-being of children a top priority
- Support children in the development of their self-help skills and independence
- Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
- Work in partnership to maintain cleanliness and organization of classroom material

;A valid Standard First Aid and CPR-Certificate
- A cleared Criminal Reference Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening
- Up to date Immunization Record with proof of current Tuberculosis (TB) Test
- A positive, fun-loving attitude the ability to work in a team, and self-motivated
- Knowledge of HiMama Childcare Management Tool is preferred, but not essential

This position would be between the hours of 8:45am-5 or 6pm, flexibility would be required as our school operates from 7:15am-5:45pm daily, therefore shifts can be changed with notice to support the school.
