We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated Structured Cabling Technician to join our team. This role will primarily involve structured cabling work, with additional responsibilities in onsite technical support.

**Position Overview**:
**Structured Cabling**:

- Perform onsite visits to install, maintain, and troubleshoot structured cabling systems.
- Conduct site surveys to determine cabling requirements and work with administrative staff to quote and complete new installations.
- Install and terminate various types of cables, including Cat5e, Cat6, fiber optic, and coaxial.
- Test and certify cabling installations to ensure optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of cabling layouts and infrastructure changes.
- Collaborate with project managers and clients to ensure timely and successful project completion.

**Onsite Technical Support**:

- Provide first-level technical support to clients at their locations.
- Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of desktop computers, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Manage user accounts and permissions in various systems.
- Document all support activities, issues, and resolutions in the ticketing system.
- Escalate complex issues to higher-tier technicians or relevant departments as necessary.

**VALID driver's license with clean driving record is a hard requirement**

**Education and Experience**:

- High school diploma or equivalent; additional training in Information Technology or related field a plus.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in structured cabling installation and maintenance.
- Experience with IT support or a similar role is an asset.
- Experience with CCTV systems is an asset.

**Technical Skills**:

- Proficiency in Windows operating systems.
- Basic knowledge of networking principles and hardware.
- Familiarity with ticketing systems and support tools.
- Experience with cabling tools and equipment (e.g., crimpers, cable testers, punch-down tools).

**Soft Skills**:

- Strong problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Attention to detail and a commitment to quality.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in various environments, including office settings, data centers, and construction sites.
- Ability to climb ladders and work in confined spaces.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $17.78-$30.15 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
