As the Lead, Performance, Accountability and Funding Allocation, you will be the primary point of contact for managing Health Service Providers (HSPs) Accountability Agreements and Performance. You will work collaboratively with team members to lead system improvements through planning and collaboration. Your role will drive innovation by initiating performance improvement initiatives and partnering with experts in various health care disciplines.

Here is what you will be doing:
- Accountability: Monitor HSP compliance with Multi Sector Services Agreement (MSAA) and follow-up on compliance issues and collaborate on mitigation and improvement strategies- Performance Management: Oversee the performance management of HSPs, and system performance. Lead the negotiation of HSPs Performance Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and targets, including setting funding and functional Centres service volume targets. Ensure HSP compliance with the Community Financial Policy and other relevant guidelines.-
- Contract Monitoring: Lead the monitoring of HSPs contracts, identifying and apprising management of imminent problems, issues, conflicts, and potential political risks and impacts.- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work collaboratively within Ontario Health and the ministry to develop and manage critical stakeholder relationships and consultations. Resolve a range of highly sensitive service provider relationship management issues.- Strategy Development: Collaboratively develop strategies and tactics to increase health services spread and scale for identified initiatives/solutions. Identify opportunities to improve performance across the health care system and engage healthcare leaders in change initiatives.- Innovation and Quality Improvement: Lead the design and implementation of innovations in health care through collaboration with HSPs to drive performance and quality improvement, resulting in improved equitable patient and client outcomes.- Funding Management: Manage Funding Allocation and reallocation including proposal reviews, evaluations and funding recommendations. Support the Development and implementation of the provincial and regional Performance Framework and Funding Allocation Framework.-
- Risk Management: Provide advice to the Management team and Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care on operational and health system performance and risks. Support the quarterly risk management cycle, including engaging internal stakeholders across North Region business units to identify risks and develop appropriate risk responses through mitigation and contingency plans.- Performance Audits: Coordinate with HSPs to support the implementation of auditor general recommendations, provincial performance expectations and metrics and respond to inquiries.- Relationship Management: Maintain strong working relationships with HSPs to support proactive/effective performance, issue management, and completion of SAAs from inception to completion. Develop issues management and escalation processes, project evaluation and monitoring, including the infrastructure to track key indicators.- Innovative Practices: Identify and implement innovative practices to further improve processes in alignment with the performance management strategy and framework. Participate and contribute to internal planning groups and working groups as appropriate and requested
