Availability during traditional school bus route times (Monday to Friday) is advantageous for those seeking regular weekly hours, but we are also looking to expand our pool of on-call drivers.

**Qualifications**:

- Current BC Class 2 or Class 4 Driver’s License
- At least two years of driving experience

**Preferred Skills and Qualifications**:

- Level 1 First Aid certification or equivalent
- Experience driving children

**Working Conditions**:

- Day (including early morning), evening, weekend, and possible overnight shifts
- Some heavy lifting (e.g., suitcases) and carrying may be required

**Responsibilities**:

- Safely transport students to and from school and events, following a prescribed route
- Perform vehicle safety inspections, documenting and reporting as required
- Comply with all school and government regulations, laws, and policies
- Communicate clearly and professionally with parents, school staff, passengers, co-workers, and the public
- Be punctual, reliable, and in good physical condition
- Maintain a positive attitude and work well as part of a team
- Work with mínimal supervision
- Attend and participate in safety-related training provided by the school

**Additional Requirements**:

- All applicants undergo a satisfactory Criminal Record Check initiated by Queen Margaret’s School
