With a professional but empathetic lens, you provide clients with the information, tools and resources to enable them to undertake a successful job search as independently as possible.

As a member of our strong and caring team, you will make a difference at the personal and community level by ensuring WCG Employment Ontario clients achieve their employment goals and receive the best support possible.

**What you’ll do**:

- Provide clients with access to employment-related self-assessment tools such as interests, personality type and values, and career planning and employability assessments
- Maintain strong partner relationships internally and externally
- Work proactively to maintain Centre job board
- Support clients in the Self-Serve area to access resources including computer workstations with internet access, relevant software programs, Labour Market Information (LMI), telephones and a fax machine
- Facilitate workshops as required
- Provide relevant print materials and online links to Ontario LMI and other provincial and federal sources
- Promote the WCG Employment Ontario service to clients and employers

**What you bring**:

- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience providing customer service both in person and in a virtual service delivery environment
- Knowledge of the local labour market, community resources and government assistance programs
- Knowledge of job search techniques, career development tools and issues relating to unemployment
- Advanced skills with MS Office
- Adherence to confidentiality and professional codes of conduct
- Willingness to work outside regular business hours, including in shifts and evenings, when required
- Post-secondary certificate, degree or diploma in a relevant field and/or Certified Career Development Practitioner (CCDP) designation preferred
