Toronto, Canada Dr. Maura Ferguson Full time

Dr. Maura Ferguson is looking to hire psychological associates for a busy downtown Toronto (St. George and Bloor) psychology private practice. You may be a psychologist, psychological assistant, social worker or psychotherapist that works in an integrated approach including psychodynamic/psychoanalytic, relational approaches to short and long term psychotherapy. You may have limited experience, but wish to develop your capacity to understand what is happening between for your client/patient beneath the symptoms and behaviours they exhibit. Ideally you are experienced and interested in working with people and their relationships, such as couples including same sex, bicultural and biracial couples that are at various stages in their relationship or commitment.

What you bring:

- Conduct psychological evaluations, some intakes and formulate cases autonomously and in consultation/supervision
- Provide individual and/or couples therapy including maintaining updated notes and client/patient case files.
- Provide trauma informed psychotherapy
- Interest in working in office one weekday per week and/or weekend days as well as some remote work.
- Licensed and registered in good standing in Ontario as Psychologist, Psychological Assistant, Social Worker or Psychotherapist.
- Asset: capacity to perform psychotherapy in a second language.
- Demonstrated interest and motivation regarding further training and professional development relating directly to working in an integrated relational approach

Qualifications:

- Master's or doctoral degree in psychology or related field
- Experience working with individuals (adults /teens) and couples
- Strong therapeutic skills, organization skills and ability to provide evidence-based interventions

**Job Type**: Freelance

**Salary**: $80.00-$150.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 10 per week
