**What**
**you’ll do**
The
Saskatchewan Teachers’ Federation is currently seeking a **1-year temporary**
Systems Support Specialist to provide operational and technical support to end
users with a primary focus on providing support to staff through the service
desk function and ensuring resolution of hardware and software problems.

**Responsibilities**:

- Provide
support to all STF staff members by responding to support requests.
- Respond
to network issues identified by users and IT personnel by providing both
service directly and to network infrastructure.
- Perform
day-to-day maintenance and administration of workstation and laptop endpoint
protection software and respond to threats that arise.
- Perform
day-to-day maintenance, administration and configuration of Enterprise Endpoint
Security.
- Perform
Mobile Device Management, support the STF enterprise system, and administrate
mobile user accounts.
- Provide
Windows Server administration as needed, such as configuring automated software
rollouts, enterprise level workstation updates, organization spanning issues
between workstations, servers and users.
- Responsible
for workstation and laptop rollouts to employees using Enterprise System tools
such as Ghost and Microsoft System Center.
- Responsible
for managing, servicing and configuring network printers using Windows Server
administration.
- Troubleshoot
and assist STF staff and members with all audio-visual related equipment.
- Assist
with pro-active and reactive disaster recovery measures, such as file recovery,
backup administration, etc.
- Provide
and create documentation for installation and troubleshooting procedures.

**What**
**you’ll bring**

Applicants
will have a minimum of a two-year diploma in
information technology from a recognized educational institution, combined with
2-3 years of experience in the field of IT support. The incumbent will have a
good understanding of Windows and Mac operating systems, networking and
Windows Server Management, WSUS, VMware, Veeam Backup & Replication, and HP
networking is a definite asset. An equivalent combination of related experience
and training will also be considered.Required
